I personalized my email by adding the following:
This message was sent to <span style="color: #666666; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;">[email]</span>.
The span formatting looks fine in the original HTML file for the email. However, when [email]is replaced with the actual email address for the recipient, the link formatting overrides the outer span formatting. Since I can't add any formatting inside [email], the link takes on the default link values. Is there a way to add formatting so this link can look like other links in the file to which I've added style information?
Correct me if I'm wrong (I didn't test this), but shouldn't this work?
<a href="mailto:[email]" style="color: #666666; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;">[email]</a>
It worked! Thank you so much!!
