I've just set up and about to send my first campaign.
However I get a message saying I need approval to send to this many people, my list has 610 subscribers.
I really need to get this out today, I was wondering if anyone knows the maximum number of people I can send this to without approval so I can break the mailing list down into chunks and send it like this.
I believe the first cut is around 500. Here's the help topic where I found the info previously:
We would actually be very unhappy if you were to try to avoid approval in this way - it is a vital part of making sure our service can keep running and delivering emails.
Instead, checkout the bottom of the page trioro posted and arrange to have your approval done as quickly as possible. Deliberately avoiding approval raises a big warning flag for us, even though you may only be doing it due to time pressures, so please do not do that.
We submitted a list to one of our new client accounts on Tuesday (account name Recchiuti) and we haven't heard anything in 3 days. On the site it says that the approval process usually takes around 12 hours so we were hoping that we would be able to get our campaign out asap. We have had great experience with CampaignMonitor in the past with other clients so it comes as a bit of a surprise that we haven't heard anything yet. What is the best course of action to get our account activated?
That's very strange - we absolutely reply to every approval request within 12 hours, so if you have not had a reply from us, something has gone wrong. Please email support at campaign monitor with the details and we will sort you out.
From Australia to Zimbabwe, and everywhere in between, companies count on Campaign Monitor for email campaigns that drive real business results.Get started for free
