I just downloaded your C# samples so I could start playing with the API. I kept having trouble which I blamed on the conversion process to .NET 2.0. It turns out to be a naming problem: CampaignMonitor is sometimes spelled CampaginMonitor (the g and the i are transposed). Once I fixed this (everywhere, including the generated files) it works.
