Here is a scenario that I need some help with.
Website A and Website B are two separate websites, but under the same company umbrella.
The company would like to give users the ability to subscribe to mailings from both Website A and Website B from either website.
Is it acceptable to have a checkbox reading something similar to "Subscribe to the latest news from Website A and Website B", or does it need to be broken into clickable options for each website, i.e. "Subscribe to the latest news from Website A" and "Subscribe to the latest news from Website B?"
It would be best practice to separate them out so you aren't forcing people to sign up for both. However, it would likely be fine to include a checkbox underneath the form for each:
Sign up for news from Website A
[ ] Also sign me up for news from Website B
[ Submit ]
