How to Hide

When you leave the cursor stationary over an image its link is displayed, like so;
"http//:clientname.createsend.blah.blah/blah"

My client would like to hide this... "it looks unprofessional"

*sigh*

How do you get around this?

It's an email client functionality and it depends on what email client your client is using...

Still, the only way would be to NOT set a link on the image. Which is pretty ridiculous you'd say!

Could you place the link under the image, in text, so the image would be "clean"? (I'm assuming your client is on Outlook)

Thank you Nicolas. My solution was the following;

When the client is composing the newsletter, add an image, add the link, then type: cm_dontconvertlink

Example. http://www.campain.com cm_dontconvertlink

My client is somewhat happier without the tracking code, cleaner.

I'll take notes of that, since I never know if one of my client will ever ask me that kind of thing! Thanks for the tips.

Yes, you can turn off the tracking URLs, but of course you then don't get any reporting on which links were clicked. See http://help.campaignmonitor.com/topic.aspx?t=83
