Outlook eliminates a border, adds extra space

It looks fine in Dreamweaver, in the Campaign Monitor preview, and in Gmail, but when I send a test of my email to Outlook, a chunk of the table border goes missing, and there is a huge gap between a title and a picture/link. I have no idea why this is happening and haven't been able to find it in the code.

I'm a novice when it comes to HTML and coding, so simple advice and explanations would be really helpful! Thank you!

Here's my code:

For each row in the "lift_container" table, just nest a table instead of using colspans/rowspans.  Nest additional tables within cells as necessary.  Also, "height" is not fully supported.

Reason: The slightest error in calculation can throw an entire design off when using colspans/rowspans, and some e-mail clients render them in different ways.
