I've been having an on-going problem with CM now for a few months whereby it seems fewer and fewer test mails get through.
I'm now sending to emails through to 5 different email accounts, and i'm lucky if more than one gets through. I'm sending from a 6th email account to eliminate the problem of mail servers blocking emails they've not sent, so that's no the reason.
To be honest it's making life very difficult as each little test can take for ever, and forwarding the email from whichever account does receive it to the other to test visual rendering is obviously not very reliable way of doing things.
It's becoming a bit of a deal breaker for me.
What can i do to ensure the emails get through, and after that, what can Campaign Monitor do if it's still not working?
Hi Rob, this is certainly very unusual. If you're sending to the same domain as you're sending from (eg. from email@example.com to firstname.lastname@example.org), our first suggestion would be to make sure that you've whitelisted our servers. Beyond this, I'd recommend that you send an email to support at campaignmonitor.com with details, including a sample of some of the test email addresses you're sending to. We can then work out if it's something we can assist with.
As this has been going on for a few months, it's most likely that a mail server somewhere is filtering test emails from Campaign Monitor.
Not sure i can add IP's to my mail server's whitelist.
This is what i can do...
It's worth noting that at the moment, the emails aren't even appearing in my junk-mail folder.
