My goal is to tweak the generic unsubscribe page by adding the unsubscriber's email address.
For example, the generic unsubscribe page reads:
You have been successfully removed from this subscriber list. You will no longer hear from us.
I would like it to read:
[email]has been successfully removed from this subscriber list. You will no longer hear from us. We're sorry to see you go.
Seems simple enough, but I'm struggling with limited knowledge of HTML.
I'm having a little doubt here, as to if it's entirely possible.
Since the user is already unsubscribed, is it possible to recall the email address that was removed from the list?
I'll be watching this topic for the answer!
Hi mosimmons and NickoLabs, unfortunately you can't add the subscriber's email address to the generic unsubscribe page. I've certainly added a vote for this suggestion - it does make sense!
You may have noticed that a lot of newsletters include an unsubscribe message like:
You've subscribed to our newsletter using email@example.com. To unsubscribe, use this link.
It might be easier to add a simple message like that.
