There is a reset.css file which pretty much nulls all padding and margin for normal html and I was wondering if something like this exists for email newsletter campaigns?
Probably you can reset the element you want to reset in your <style> tag and apply it with the css-inliner .
But i wouldn't bother myself.
I don't use semantic tag in email, you get a better cross compatibility and lighter code this way (plus Hotmail doesn't reset all margins and padding even if you tell him to)
