I'm new to campaign monitor but I'd love to start using it for ourselves and also for our clients. What would be really helpful is a way to integrate a newsletter signup check box as part of a more general contact form.
In my experience people get "form fatigue" and if one form can do it all, rather than having to get people to enter information twice (contact form / sign up form) then people are far more likely to sign up for the newsletter / email marketing.
i notice that Campaign Monitor offers this functionality via a formspring plug - and it looks like this solution would work very well. The trouble is that Formspring is excessively expensive!
Does anyone have a solution to this? As the form also needs to function as a contact form it would need to email the client recipient as well as sending data to CM.
You can do this without any plugins actually - check our article at http://www.campaignmonitor.com/resources/entry/682/capturing-subscribers-from-an-existing-form/
