Most email clients by default do not display images until selected to do so. I presume that the test facility shows your email as it would display any email by default - with the images disabled. This really is how you should plan an email as being displayed initially when designing it, as you can't guarantee the recipient will enable images.

If i'm not mistaken, the preview mimics the image behavior of the e-mail (the "images" button)?
PS outlook 2003 is fine, the rest doesn't display the images
