Remove P tag from title and description

I need to remove the p tags from both the title and description of a repeater. I'd like to encase the title in a span, which I can do from the template. But the wysiwyg editor then puts both the title in description inside a p tag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Paragraph tags shouldn't be added around a title, but they will be automatically added around a description. You can physically remove them if you enter the source mode when editing a description tag, but it's something that you'd have to do each time you edit the description.

Unfortunately this isn't something that can be controlled or configured, sorry.

This always annoys me when platforms add these in by themselves.

My workaround for this is to add a custom style for the paragraph tag:

 p { margin: 0px;
               padding: 0px;
             } - Everything Email.
