Stop emailclients from Auto-detect URL

Hi,

My clients company name is a url. Most email clients like apple mail turn the name in a link. Is there a way to avoid this?

I've found this issue too with gmail. I just style the link so it looks like the surrounding text.

There isn't an obvious way to do it, other than perhaps breaking up the text or making it website (dot) com.

Is having it be a link causing some problems?

yes the name is in a title so halfway the font-size and weight changes.
@jerallyn: do you mean you style just this pecific link into the style it suppose to be?
So in my case:

    td.miniTableIcons h2 {
    font-family: Calibri, Tahoma, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #00A4FF !important;
    padding-left: 15px;
    padding-right:15px;
    padding-top: 15px;
      }

and then this one

    td.miniTableIcons h2 a {
    font-family: Calibri, Tahoma, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #00A4FF !important;
    padding-left: 15px;
    padding-right:15px;
    padding-top: 15px;
      }

Am I correct?

Right, if you know where it is you can target links in that element and style them (turn of text-decoration too)

@fr4nk: You would only need to style the link itself - remove the padding from your "td.miniTableIcons h2 a" css above. eg:

<span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;" font-size:12px; color: #666;>
    Here is some text surrounding a <a href="http://www.domain.com.au" target="_blank" style="text-decoration:none;color:#666;">domain.com.au</a> link.
</span>
