I note that it's possible to see a history of exactly what time recipients have opened their emails. I was wondering if there was a way to - and if not, plans to add this feature - receive email updates in real time as people open their emails.
No, we've not got plans to send email updates at the moment - that would be a very high amount of email, and by the time you got the email it may be out of date due to the time email can take. So it hasn't been requested before.
You'd be best of just looking at the report page to see when people come in for now. I'd be interested to know how you would us the information, if there was a way to get it in real time?
Cheers for the answer.
It would be for research - I'm interested in working out if people open the email out of routine or based on external market events etc. If the latter then it would be worth investing time into tailoring emails based on those events.
I can go back and chart it all but then I'd have to check out market movement history which would take quite a while.
I'm just nosey.
