I've been looking for ways to create spacing around images that will work for images in CM templates, not involving extra tables and such that won't completely disappear when the image is not needed, and not involving extra repeaters that clutter up the template just so the images can be removed when not wanted.
As far as I can see, Outlook 2007 and 2010 are not responding at all to margins, borders, or hspace/vspace. I can find solutions that work for everything else, and the newer versions of Outlook ignore them, leaving the image flush with the text below them. If anyone can suggest a solution that actually has some effect (but which will go away with the unused image placeholder), I'd be most grateful.
