Great work on this app by the way, we love it.

Is there anyway to have the meta tag data update by the client without altering the html in the template?
Hi teerock, thanks for your kind words! Unfortunately, your clients won't be able to update the meta tags from within the WYSIWYG editor. This is something you or your clients will have to update prior to importing a campaign.
Stay tuned, as we are certainly looking at more elegant ways to integrate social sharing into campaigns.
It's encouraging to know that you are actively developing the integration of social network sharing into campaigns. Will this sharing be trackable?
Any update on this? Please add my vote.
Thanks for all your great work. Love the product.
Hi Tina, thank you for your kind words and welcome to the forums! As yet, we don't have any details or timelines as we're still giving social sharing our consideration here. I'll keep you updated if I receive any further details.
This is a great way to have your content shared on facebook, though you'll need a place for it to 'live' on the web first: <a href="http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=URL">your content</a>, where URL at the end of that link is the website where your content 'lives'.
I was simply going to use a specific blog post as the content of our newsletter, so I would link to the blog post. Perhaps there is a way to grab the url where Campaign Monitor places it for the <webversion> tag?
Hi kelvin, welcome to the forums and thank you for visiting our Facebook page, too! Check the help topic at the beginning of this thread - using the [webversion] tag (note square brackets), you can get the webversion URL and add it to a Facebook share link. Again, be careful, as sharing in this manner can affect your campaign reports.
Hi folks, we're very pleased to announce that we've just added social sharing to all Campaign Monitor accounts. Thankfully, this means no more hacks and a solution which works well with email templates, too!
Using our simple template tags, it's now super easy to add 'Like on Facebook' and 'Share on Twitter' links and buttons to your email campaigns. Your clients can also add social links and buttons to their email templates using the WYSIWYG editor.
In addition, we've backed up social sharing with robust real-time reports, complete with Facebook likes, tweets and forwards via email. It's also possible to share sent campaigns from within your account.
Many thanks for all your feedback and patience while we've worked on bringing social integration to the app. Find out more about social sharing in our blog, or get in contact with us, should you have any questions or suggestions :)
