For a few days now I'd been stuck with a problem on a new email template. Every time I tested the template it came through absolutely fine but whenever I sent a test to the client one, or two, or sometimes three images would not load, whereas the rest would. It wasn't consistent either, a variety of diff images wouldn't load.
Found out the client was using Outlook 2003 and after a lot of trial and error discovered the problem was that Outlook was splitting the image filenames across two lines of text, which apparently it doesn't like.
The solution? Give the images as short filenames as possible! Simple as that!
Hope that helps a few stranded email designers out there!!
