No matter what I try I can't seem to get Outlook 2007 to recognise when I add a bottom margin (could be other margins too) on <p> tags unless I add !important to the inline style.
Other things I tried:
Style rule in the head with important applied
Using margin-bottom instead of margin shorthand (inline style)
Is this normal?
Any ideas peeps?
Guess not : (
Hi mikebee, so sorry that we missed this one. Outlook '07 has loads of inconsistencies when it comes to margins and padding, so yes, this is fairly normal, I'm sorry to say. Thanks for letting us know about this one - we'll keep this information in mind when we next update our guide to CSS support in email clients.
No worries roshodgekiss, thanks for getting back to me : )
