adding social bookmarking to email newsletter

Hi I have an short announcement I will send to my subscribers and I wanted to try and increase traffic at the same time but getting them to digg and stumble a page from my website.

Has anyone any experience of adding these kind of links, is there an easier way than just adding images with the appropriate link or can you embed something like sharethis.com?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Are you trying to add them to your website, or to an email? If to an email, what are the recipients actually meant to be 'digging'?

I'm not sure about Stumbleupon, but Digg does have a nice reference page for adding links, including an easy bit of jscript to insert to do the work (obviously working for webpages, not emails):

<script src="http://digg.com/tools/diggthis.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Most social bookmarking sites should allow you to link directly from the email (without javascript).

Let's say you want to add a Digg link for the webversion of your email. Simply add this code:
<a href="http://digg.com/submit?url=[webversion]&title=TITLE&bodytext=DESCRIPTION&media=MEDIA&topic=TOPIC">digg it</a>
(Remember to change TITLE, DESCRIPTION, MEDIA and TOPIC).

You should be able to find the same for other social bookmarking sites aswell.
