First of all, well done CM for the Facebook 'like' button tag.
My client asked me earlier today if we can somehow show how many people have clicked the button as well.
Like on a normal website when someone click the facebook like button, it will show the number of how many people have like it as well.
Is this possible in Campaign Monitor?
If the solution is not to use the <fblike> cm tag, that's fine to me...
Any help is much appreciated
Hi Vic, unfortunately it's not possible to see how many people 'liked' your campaign from within the email itself (in the same way as you can on the web). That said, I'm happy to take note of this as a feature request internally.
I'd +1 that feature too. Makes sense to keep traction of reporting from a single source too.
I'm wondering if, instead of using a "like" image, you could generate the image in PHP (with GD library or whatever) so you could dynamically create the "like" image with the count (from the reports) on it...
Therefore, it'd be 1 like image per campaign. A little tedious to do, but that could be a nice addition to the facebook like feature.
+1 from me to this request as well. ^_^
Hi Nicko, thanks for the feedback! I agree, that would be awesome, so hopefully our team gives it the thumbs up for a future update. I've added your vote internally - thanks again!
