We have had a number of complaints that when a user recieves an email from use using campaign monitor that there is a warning message displayed saying that the system could not verify that the email was genuinely send from the email address listed.
Obviously this is true as its coming from campaign monitor and not our Exchange.
The user was checking his email from his work PC. I believe this must be some security setting in the system that checks how genuine the email is somehow.
Is there any way around this?
Hi dougalmd, would you be able to post a screenshot of this warning, and/or let us know which email client this warning is appearing in?
In the interim, you may want to look at this article on email authentication. Setting up DomainKeys using this method doesn't take long to do, but often is the solution to delivery issues like this.
