I've seen in another post that CampaignMonitor have not allowed the function for clients to upload their own templates for various reasons (don't know how to use them, code them etc).
It seems really restricting for me as I would like to have a store where clients can purchase themes and upload them to their accounts for use. This would be an additional revenue stream and mean when setting up accounts client would only need one or two basic templates as they could then shop for more.
Should it not at least be an option to allow certain clients to be able to upload templates? Am I the only one who finds this a bit of a roadblock to reselling CampaignMonitor?
You are right, we deliberately do not allow it. It keeps things much simpler for clients who generally don't have the HTML skills to handle templates themselves.
We do see in some specialised cases it isn't ideal, but for the bulk of designers it just makes more sense.
I have templates in my account which I want my clients to use. Can I assign these to my clients? or do I have to upload the templates again into each of my client's accounts.
As I have over 50 clients which I want to use this I need a quick way to assign the my template (and any changes I make) to them all.
You would need to upload them separately I'm afraid - are all your clients using the same design, not customised in any way?
Yes they are all the same - also I want each client to have the same settings. Is it possible to clone clients?
eg make new client accounts from a 'master' or copy one to all?
The information is very useful for me too. Thanks guys!
i agree with homebuyercentre.
I want my client have template that ready to use. It's ok for me if client use my template or build new one.
