Hi, I am a movice at this HTML email game... I thought I had mastered CSS rather well (myself!)... but I have been told, categorically, NOT to use CSS is Outlook 2007 - specifically... and to style/code everything inline and use very carefully defined tables...
And yet I was delighted to see that the Campaign Monitor Templates use CSS for styling...
AND, I have only just found the testing bit!
So... can I use CSS for styling in the header or not...?
I must say the Outlook 2007 is a completel pain in my little experience... everyone should be forced to use Apple Macs!
Our templates leave CSS in the head for ease of editing (and in fact Outlook also leaves CSS in the head and it mostly works).
However when you import your template into Campaign Monitor we will make the CSS inline automatically for you, so you don't have to manually do it.
From Australia to Zimbabwe, and everywhere in between, companies count on Campaign Monitor for email campaigns that drive real business results.Get started for free
