Your Valued Opinion is Appreciated

Aloha Friends,

Less than 50% of our 1st campaign's emails were opened.  What would you suggest as far as determining whether to continue sending to the entire list, or simply just send to the "opened" group.

Many Thanks,

Matthew Gray

I would not recommend limiting your send outs based on one single campaign. That said I personal lean towards the quality is more important than quantity, and would look at purging subscribers who have never opened an email after they have been sent a "reasonable" number of campaigns..

In fact I just posted on this exact subject over here

With some requests/suggestions on improving segmenting to make this easier for CM users.

Thanks Alex for responding. Matthew, also be sure to read http://help.campaignmonitor.com/topic.aspx?t=89 as not every open can be recorded. That article also has some information on typical open rates, and suggestions for improving it.
