should i use a secure form?

hello, i am collecting some data: name, email, address.

do you think i should put the cm form on a secure page https??

i'm new at this so i'm not sure if its standard practice to do this for just name, email, address.

thanks for any advice?

Unless this is super sensitive data, I don't see any reason to use SSL for your subscribe forms. Also, because you're transferring data from an SSL based to a non-SSL based connection, your subscriber will more than likely see a security alert in their browser.

I can confirm almost none of our customers use the SSL approach and simple post the form on a standard page on their site.
