Is it possible to set a desired response, say for for arguments sake, accept future special offers, set to positive response, where to not-accept they need to check the negative response.
Could be two checkboxs, with one already checked.
Is this possible?
Thanks for any help.
Hi Paul, checkboxes on forms have to be strictly opt-in to obtain correct permission from your subscribers. This means it has to be something like:
Yes, I would like to subscribe to ABC Widgets' monthly email newsletter
It can't be pre-checked, or set to the negative like, 'Click here to NOT receive ABC Widgets' monthly email newsletter'. For more information on this, take a look at our blog post on permission and opt-in checkboxes. Naturally, give us a holler if you have any further questions, too!
I accept that the subscribe/receive extra stuff sections, but there are cases where a pre-selected box would actually make it easier for customers.
I just used the opt-in as an example.
