We're transitioning our user-base from MyEmma to Campaign Monitor. On the whole this has been very successful.
A few for our users make heavy use of MyEmma to style their mailings tho; specifically, they are missing the following features:
+ Ability to set font size in WYSIWYG mode
+ MyEmma has the split the concept of templates into 2 parts "stationery" and "layout". So if in MyEmma we have, say 3 different stationaries (created by us) and 50 layouts (provided by MyEmma) that would be equivalent to setting up 150 templates in Campaign Monitor.
In reality I believe our users actually take advantage of maybe a dozen MyEmma layouts. But this is still equal to more than 30 templates in Campaign Monitor which is too much for us to have to set up and maintain.
Am wondering if any CM users have faced this sort of issue before and would care to share how they made headway.
Would also like to hear from CM if either of these features are under development consideration. I see there are several requests in the forum for font size control...
Hi phripley, I haven't had much experience with MyEmma, I'm sorry to say. However, I'm pleased to say that we're working on an update to the template editor, which should make the process of selecting templates much easier. There are going to be a few improvements to how you can edit content in templates, so keep an eye on the blog for that.
Looking forward to hearing from MyEmma customers on this one - the responses will be useful for us, too.
