I'm using my recipients' email address in my campaign links to track individuals and to measure the success of my campaigns. I was wondering if there was any conclusive evidence indicating if email campaigns with links containing email addresses as URL variables (ie: http://domain.com?MyIDfirstname.lastname@example.org ) were more likely to be spammed or not.
Hi Peter, welcome to the forums! We haven't heard of any specific cases where using a URL in this format has resulted in the email being flagged as spam. It's only a problem when the link text features a URL. However, as always, be sure to solidly test in either individual email clients, or via our design and spam test, just in case :)
