i just did a test using campaign.create using https html content url and i am getting 310 - HTML Content URL Required
the URL is correct and visible to all
I also tried this on the campaignMonitor portal and noticed that http was only supported in the import from web section
can someone confirm this to be the problem i am seeing - https is not supported to referece html content?
If you make a request for https://demo.giveget.com/emailtemplates/giveget_html_dummy_template.html in a modern web browser like Google Chrome, you will receive a warning "This is probably not the site you are looking for!" - "You attempted to reach demo.giveget.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.exchangesolutions.com".
I think you will find that there is a problem with your SSL configuration, and that this is the reason you are not able to import. We do not allow you to import when we receive server errors like this.
I noticed that a request to http://demo.giveget.com/emailtemplates/giveget_html_dummy_template.html works fine anyway. Is there any reason you need to use https for this request?
we enabled http after i posted this post and before you had a chance to respond - thanks for the feedback
