I'm trying to design a template with an effect similar to the "Natural" template in the template gallery by Newism. The design as shown alternates the image alignment for every other item in a repeater section.
So the first one is align left and the second is align right, the third is left again...
From looking at the plain html files included in the download this is accomplished with table cells. In the "html with cm tags" this effect is absent and the image alignment is just set with a basic img align='left'
So I guess my question is, am I missing something in these template files or is there a mismatch here?
If I'm not missing anything, then is there another way to achieve the alternating image alignment Newism has in their design?
Hi VFHwebdev, how I'd probably pull this off is as follows:
<table> <repeater> <tr> <td><img ... align="left" /><p>Your content here</p></td> </tr> <tr> <td><img ... align="right" /><p>Your content here</p></td> </tr> </repeater> </table>
Don't forget that your repeaters have to include title, description or image template tags to be editable.
The downside is that you will always have an even number of content rows (unless you delete all the content from one of the rows). Good luck!
Ok, thanks. I'll give that a try.
