It would be great if we could add a setting against a specific email list that prevented us from sending a newsletter to each subscriber more than once, twice a month or more than once every two months etc. With the option to override this on specific newsletters.
This has arisen because the marketing guys here are wanting to make greater use of segments to target emails but don't want to have to think each time about the cross-over between other segments that they may have already sent to this month and don't want to flood customers inboxes with loads of semi-duplicate newsletters.
Hi djwhisky, great suggestion! I've most certainly added your vote for some kind of limiter to ensure subscribers don't receive duplicate emails, or too many across a period of time. I agree, this would be very useful and could potentially allow subscribers to select their desired frequency using the preference center. Great call - I'll keep you posted on this one.
