We are trying to integrate with Campaign Monitor to pull down a history of a list and appear to be missing a necessary field. In some integrations with other email marketing services we have been able to access a subscribe date for unsubscribers. This allows us to plot over time how big a list was on specific dates.
Is there another way to access this type of subscriber information within a list?
If you use that API call, each subscriber has a date (when subscribed) record. Same for unsubscribed users: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/api/lists/#getting_unsubscribed_subscribers
The http://www.campaignmonitor.com/api/lists/#getting_unsubscribed_subscribers gives me the unsubscribe date, but doesn't give me the subscription date of that user to the list. I'm trying to build a history of subscribers of lists and need the subscription date for unsubscribed users.
I need this too - as well as the last date any modifications were made to a subscriber profile. The tool I currently use has this capability built in without the use of API - is this possible if I switch to using CM?
Hi CM - can you give us an up/down on this field?
I'm afraid that there isn't a way to get that information using the API. We only provide the date that they unsubscribed, unfortunately. I've created a feature request for this and added both your vote and webchik's vote. If we hear that this is a popular request we will certainly consider adding it.
Is there a public place where people can go to specific vote on this feature or is this the only place to do it?
Hi Adam, this is the spot. All feature requests mentioned in our forums get added internally by Carissa, myself and the rest of the support crew that help out here :)
Is there any news on this feature?
I need it badly
FWIW - it would make our app much better for new users as they would get their full history. As it is, we have to start building the history from when they sign up (and we can't ever go back in time).
Any progress here? Campaign Monitor history pulling is really important feature for us.
Hey there all, sorry about getting to this request so late. While we don't have a timeline for this update just yet, i'll certainly add your votes for this internally and keep you updated. Sorry for the wait!
Hello guys! We really need this feature! Do you have any rough date when it will be implemented?
Hi there isungurov, we still don't have plans to have this added in the near future, I'm sorry to say. As soon as we have an update, we'll be sure to update this thread.
Hello everyone! It would be great improvement! Is there any progress?
Hi Evlikat, since our last update 2 weeks ago, we haven't added this to our roadmap, I'm sorry to say. I'll certainly give this issue a bump on your behalf and keep this thread updated, though! Thanks for letting us know :)
Hello everyone. This feature can help my business also. It would be nice to have it.
Can I have a chance that this question will be resolved?
Hi Campaign Monitor -
Just checking in to see what your thinking is on offering the original subscription date for unsubscribed users. Perhaps you have released a new feature in the last year or so that would make this possible a different way?
Hi sulaev and mrclark411, we've had a few requests for the original subscribe date to be returned for unsubscribed folks, however we don't have concrete plans to add this to the API just yet. Sorry for the wait here, but we'll be sure to give this issue a bump and let you know if we progress on it.
Great work on the new OAuth API - that's a great improvement.
I'm still holding out hope you will add the original subscribe date for unsubscribers ;-)
Haha, mrclark - I'll give this one another nudge for you. Work on our API has been hopping as of late, so you never know ;)
I keep checking every week or so. Still hopeful!
Haha, sorry for the wait here! I just checked in and it looks like we still don't have a timeline on this one, I'm sorry to say. Will be sure to post here as soon as our plans become more concrete :)
