Domain Authentication with Yahoo as Registrar

I'm not really sure where to put the Domain Key or Sender ID to authenticate my domain which uses Yahoo as the registrar.

Under advanced DNS settings I am given the option of adding an A or CNAME record or changing/adding to the MX records for the mail server host name.

Not sure which records to change. Would appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Jesse

Looks like Yahoo Registrar does not support txt records. Oh well...

Alas they don't. Which is pretty ironic when you consider the fact that Yahoo came up with DomainKeys in the first place!

Hi,

I may be in the same boat: My client says TXT types are not supported on their hosting.  The only types that can be used are "A" or "MX" or "CNAME"

Can any of these be used with CM to authenticate the e-mail address?

Thanks,

Ric

Hey Ric. I'm afraid not. You need to be able to add txt records to authenticate. You might try contacting your host and see if they could add the records for you.
