I have a client that would like to email a monthly statement to their customers. They would like it ot look like the letter which would be sent to their non-email customers. I'm already able to do this for a daily application of their's, but of course it has less the 20 variable fields. Most, if not all, of these statements would have more than 20 variables (some could have 50 Plus). I've been toying with the idea of linking to a pdf of the letter, or an html of the letter, however since each blast could be several thousand, that seems to be pretty impractical. I'm just not sure what other options I have with this right now. Any thought or opinions would be really helpful.
HI rwthoroe, for something like a monthly statement, I'd probably try linking to an 'Account page', or similar on your client's site, where the recipient can log in securely and view current and past invoices. This is what both my mobile phone and credit card provider do. It also prevents the potential security risk of transmitting account information via email.
