Something is strange with the utm tagging of some of my campaigns.
CM stats says 1 536 clicks in the campaign, Google Analytics has 98 reported referrals from that campaign - but there are lots of visitors from mail.live.com etc. The utm tagging is custommade, not CM automated and the tagging obviously works as it shows in Google Analytics.
What is wrong? Any ideas?
Hi chribba, welcome to the forums! This is curious - I wonder if email clients like Hotmail (whom I presume mail.live.com is) are altering the links in some way?
I'd say the best way to get to the bottom of this is to contact our support team with campaign and account details. We'll take a look at the links and see if there's any reason on our end why your custom tags may not be showing up in GA reports.
