I just have a quick question:
What kind of open and click-through rates are you likely to get from a carefully selected cold list, making the assumption that the time of send, subject line and e-mail messasge are strong.
I was thinking from a cold list it is best to conservatively assume:
8% open rate
1.6% conversion on landing page
Could anyone give me a steer on this?
Hi marjoda, welcome to the forums! Forgive my lack of email marketing lingo, but what do you mean by a 'cold list'?
Overall, there's no way of predicting exactly how a campaign will go, especially if it's the first you've sent to a particular list. Email marketing metrics are driven by the quality of campaign content, the subscribers' sentiment towards your brand and loads of other variables, so other senders' ballpark figures are unlikely to be an indicator for your own sends.
