Template Builder - Breaking in Yahoo

I've read many tips here by CM on how to edit my code to work with Yahoo - but, what happens when the built-in template builder breaks in Yahoo?

Current problems with Yahoo...

- Paragraphs aren't spacing
- ul/li tags aren't spacing
- Update preferences and unsubscribe not showing in header
- Description text not showing in footer
- Postal address not showing in footer

I'm assuming there's no way I can go in and edit the code to apply fixes? I'd love to use the new system for my emails - and I was acutally planning on it until I just sent a test email. Any chance there will be an update to the templates soon?

HI patriotmedia, thank you for your feedback here and welcome to the forums. Could you kindly contact our support team with account and campaign details... And better still, a screenshot? We're always keen to see how we can improve the templates and will be able to suggest workarounds you can apply to your campaign in the interim.

From an initial look, it seems like the hidden elements are due to a bug in Yahoo! Mail. We'll look at updating our base templates in the fix in the near future. Thank you!

Sure, I will send detailed info to the support email. For others who are reading this - you can solve the yahoo paragraph spacing problem by adding...

p {margin-bottom: 1em;}

... to your CSS in your own template. In the template builder, until there is a fix (seems like a simple add to the core template HTML) you have to manually enter this as an inline style for each paragraph. I don't have a fix for the other problems just yet - but it seems as if Yahoo is getting confused and loading part of the mobile theme and part of the regular theme.

Hi again, thanks for suggesting a fix, both here and on the blog post. I noted down the issue internally yesterday, so hopefully we'll look at getting our templates updated soon. Thanks again for your help!
