Following is part of my code:
Display well in Gmail, but background images disappear in Outlook 2010/Hotmail, can any one have a look? Many Thanks!

        Suspendisse facilisis sollicitudin.</p>
        <p style="font-size:14px;font-weight:normal;color:#FFF;font-family:arial;line-height:150%">
        Curabitur pulvinar iaculis est ut sollicitudin. Etiam eget odio id ante rhoncus.
        Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr.

        At et accusam et justo duo..</p>

         <!--[if gte mso 9]>
       </v:shape>

Hi icbutterfly, welcome to the forums! In this case, you need to include the full image path in your VML code. For example, <v:fill type="tile" src="img/bg2.jpg" /> should be <v:fill type="tile" src="http://www.yourdomain.com/img/bg2.jpg" />

The app does not currently import images defined in VML code, so you will need to have these images hosted somewhere already, prior to using this 'hack'. At a later date we may consider having the app detect images in VML, however it won't be in the near future, I'm sorry to say. Hope this helps!

Hi roshodgekiss,
Thanks for your solution, it does work in Outlook 2010, it is really a suprise to see the background image showing up finally, however there is additional space in background color between the background image table and its below row, any idea on this?
And it is found that hotmail is still unable to display the background image!
Many thanks for your help!!

Could you kindly post a screenshot for us to look at here? My first guesses are that the background image height < height:394px; in the CSS, or the copy is pushing out the height of the cell. You might also want to look at Brian Thies' new code (under 'MAJOR UPDATE!!!') for setting a repeating background image, independent of height.

Curious about the Hotmail issue - perhaps try Brian's code and let us know if you have better luck there.

You would see two spaces with background color in the above screenshot,
PS: I have posted whole code here:

Hi roshodgekiss, I applied Brian Thies' new code, the space now is even bigger..
