Hey there - I've got a client that would like to send out an autoresponder coupon email on signup that has a date of thirty days past the date of signup. Is there any way to do that nice a clean using cm tags?
ie: person signs up on Jan 11, 2012, you'd like them to get an email with a coupon stating that the offer expires on Feb. 11, 2012.
Currently you *can* hack this together using "Offer expires thirty days from <currentmonthname> <currentday>, <currentyear>" but again, it's a hack - I'd much rather it look prettier :)
Hi Gregg! There isn't a 'prettier' way of doing this at present, I'm sorry to say. Happy to add it as a suggested improvement internally - you never know, it could be something for a future update. Thanks for chiming in about this! :D
Thanks for checking on that, much appreciated. FWIW, here's how I'm getting around this issue for now - and for designers that have clients that want to do this themselves, this entire coupon has been set up in a template for this client to use and send out themselves :)
Hey Gregg, you've done a great job here, thanks for sharing this example!
A huge thanks for bearing with the spam issues we've been having on this forum as of late - it looks like the 'human' spammers have ramped up for some reason. We're planning to overhaul our forum software in the near future, so hopefully this will become less of an issue.
Keep up the awesome work! :D
