Hi, we have used the template builder to build a nice new template for our client.
We would like to have the header be "clickable" through to the client's website
and also have two images on the sidebar clickable, one to a their subscribe page and one to their facebook page.
We can edit the HTML, but where do these images live? Is it best to have them hosted on the client's web server or are they built into the template?
Hi ChristyL! Thanks for writing in - to clarify, when you use the template builder to build a template, or import a template into our app with images, all images are imported too and hosted by our app indefinitely.
You can host the images on your client's servers, but in most cases we recommend leaving it to us to do it for you. Hope this helps!
Is it possible to offer the hyperlink option as standard when adding a custom header via Template Builder? It is a fairly standard requirement that a header image links through to a client website. Just a thought for the list!
Good call, LouiseG - there's been a bit of demand for this, so we'll certainly keep it in mind for a future update. Thank you so much - I'll keep you posted if it's something we add to the template builder.
This is just a quick note to let you know that our template builder now supports adding links to header images. Thanks for your patience while we worked on this.
