Using a template, we would like to be able to add more than one photo per article. For example, if we have 5 paragraphs, we would like to be able to a photo to the 1st and 4th paragraphs (both right aligned).
Is this possible, if so, how?
Hi julia, your best bet is to create 2 layouts - one for full-width text, one for the paragraphs you wish to have a right-aligned photograph on. At its simplest, the latter layout would be like this:
<layout label="Right-aligned image"> <table><tr><td> <img src="" width="200" align="right" editable="true" style="margin: 0 0 10px 15px;" /> <multiline>Your text here</multiline> </td></tr></table></layout>
Hope this helps - let us know how you go :)
Does that mean, in the editor, I would "Add new" for each paragraph that is full width, and "Add new" for those that have photos (but only the first would have the title of the article)?
Yes, that's correct - well, you would only have to 'Add new' for each section, not every paragraph of written content, per se. While you can add images inline to the source code of any multiline layout, the above would be the quickest and most consistent way to do this repeatedly.
PS: Just updated the code above, I made a few obvious errors.
I think I got it. I only have to Add new whenever there's a change -- photo in paragraph vs. no photo in paragraph. Is that right?
That's correct - give it a go in the email editor and I think you may find this to be a fairly practical solution :)
