Text encoding issue in Entourage?

I was wondering if anyone has encountered text encoding issues with Entourage? Here is a screenshot that shows the problem in Entourage:

Here is the sample email that is having the problems. Here's the top of the email, it looks right to me.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
  "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
<html lang="en">
<head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

I haven't had problems in any other email clients (at least that I'm aware of). Any suggestions?

Hi Phil,

We ran a test on your campaign from our end, and it rendered fine in Entourage for us. That's a tough one to track down - is it consistently coming out the same?

Thanks Matthew for the quick response. I've only received one report of this. Thanks for testing it in Entourage for me. I suspect that it may be the particular machine in question (perhaps a font problem?).

What is strange is that the h2 and h4 tags are rendering fine, everything else is garbled. Yet, the inline styles for the headers only have font-size declarations, not font-family. The <td> tags have the font-family. The font-family should cascade down to the headers, but something is happening.

Perhaps Entourage is using a different font for the headers? The font declaration on the <td>'s is "font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;". Maybe the Helvetica on that machine is corrupted, and the headers is using a different (non-corrupted) font?

Corrupted fonts could be a possibility - it's hard to know without being able to replicate it, but it doesn't seem to be a widespread or common issue with Entourage.
