Now that CM has offered their template editor, I have found the site to be not only better for my own campaigns, but easy to offer the service to my design clients. So, thank you all at CM for your revolution. One issue that i would like tweaked or further education on is the ability to tighten up the space between elements. Each new element (titles, photos, text descriptions) that you add seems to need a great deal of space between it and the element above or below. When you add a complete group of elements, there is even more space between the groups. Is there any way to adjust this so the page tightens up better?
Hey again Brian, many thanks for your great feedback here! As I mentioned in your earlier thread, it's possible to export your templates and tweak them as desired. For a lot of folks, they're a starting point for unique template designs - we do the hard work of creating basic layouts and adding mobile optimizations, designers like yourself go the next step by changing up colors, adding new layouts and adjusting things like white space and font sizes to taste. How does that sound?
Thanks, Brian - let us know if there's anything else we can help out with here :)
Something I noticed while using the Template Editor was when using any CM editing tags your able to view the source and remove the spacing by deleted the <p> tags for examples. The style amendments in CM are in a <span>'s so it slightly makes things tighter as your element would be in the <td> and not the <p> where additional padding and margin is added.
Hopefully that helps
Nice catch Step, you've been super-useful on the forums lately! We really appreciate it :D
