I'm fairly new to CampaignMonitor but loving it. I'm wondering if it is possible to create an automatic weekly newsletter containing recent news articles on a Wordpress website? There are plugins for Wordpress that can do this (http://code.google.com/p/wp-ajax-newsletter/), but I want to be able to keep the same mailing list from CampaignMonitor.
Any light on this would be helpful.
Hi there v8studio, welcome to the forums! I recommend you check out our RSS-to-email feature - it's been designed specifically for sending content from your blog to your subscribers, automatically and periodically. I really think you'll find it to be useful and you don't have to install any special plugins.
Cheers v8studio - let us know if you have any questions about this :)
I'm using this RSS to email feature from weekly wordpress articles.
I have 1 problem though in that I include an image (right aligned) in my article but when campaign monitor pulls in the rss feed it does not text align the image. It makes the email look untidy.
Can you advise? also how to put a salutation (ie dear first name) at the top of an RSS email?
Hi Tim, that's a strange one - it could be that styling is getting carried over from the Wordpress blog, or that the right-alignment isn't working in some email clients (for example, when float: right; has been used). If you could kindly get in touch with campaign and blog details, we'll happily look into why this is happening for you.
