Hi everyone, I'm having some trouble coding a background color wrapper table.
Firstly I have all the body margins set to '0' so there are no white spaces:
<body leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" marginwidth="0" topmargin="0" bottommargin="0" marginheight="0" offset="0">
Then I have a table encompassing all of the email content:
<table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
This seems to work great for the top and sides of the email, but the color doesn't extend to the bottom of the table, i.e. if you expand the window past the email contest, the background color stops and white shows. If it's a short email, half of the screen has my bg color and half is white. The only way I've found to extend the bgcolor is to add <br />, but that's not ideal at all and will force smaller windows to have a scroll.
Is there anyway to have the bgcolor work at the bottom like it does on the sides through width="100%"?
Hey there Nick, as it isn't possible to set height="100%", your best bet is to set <body bgcolor="#f7f2df"> as well, so that you get that background color in most email clients. Let us know how you go :)
