God bless the chumps at Twitter. They've just redesigned their notification emails and guess what, they're mobile friendly. The power of Campaign Monitor!
Only thing is, they've changed the subject line, so now instead of seeing:
"Some name @somename is now following you (@uemusic)"
"Universal Edition, you have a new follower on Twitter"
Reducing the information content drastically. I now have to open or preview the message to see who's following me (and all the text is centred, so I have to scroll my preview pane to see who it is).
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not following you.
Hah, now that's something! It must be doing wonders for their open rates, though - there could be a lesson for all of us here ;)
I think they (and we) should go the whole hog and change the subject line to
"You have a new email".
