Is there any way of getting a subscribers unique ID by using the API? Would've thought that the API call to get the subscribers details would do this, but it doesn't!
We want to get it so we can then redirect a user to an individual subscribers profile?
Hi there James, good to hear from you! We identify subscribers uniquely by email address - there isn't an ID independent of this at present. You can get a specific subscriber's details by passing the list ID and subscriber's email address to the subscribers method in our API. Let us know if you have any questions about this. :)
That's not strictly true though is it, when you look at a subscribers profile from within the web app, the URL contains an ID unique to that subscriber? e.g. http://xxx/subscribers/44C5EE9C8EAB8C6AF7E8006BBCB98688
It's this ID i was after that means I can redirect a client direct to that profile page?
Hey again - ah, now I understand where you're coming from. It isn't possible to get this ID at present via the API, however I'm happy to add your vote for this internally. Admittedly, we haven't had a lot off interest in linking to subscriber snapshots in this manner, but i'll let you know if it's something we look into. Thanks for your clarification!
