Javascript in imported file from template?

Hi there! I used one of the CM templates to design an email for a client. Then they wanted to make some changes to the links in the header and footer, which I did in Dreamweaver. Then I imported the HTML file back into CM. It gave me an error message saying that there was javascript in it and that I should remove all javascript. Should I just disregard that? I don't see how my changing a couple of links would have altered it that much from the formatting supplied by the original template I used.

I went ahead and sent myself a test message and it all seems fine. It looks and functions properly. Still I wonder if it will cause it to become spam, as the error message suggests.

Please advise.

Also, if there is any easier way to alter the links in the header and footer of the templates, I'd love to know. Talking about the "web preferences/web version/unsubscribe" type of things.

Thanks dendu86, that's great news. As you probably now know, Javascript poses a security risk in email, so it gets flagged and stripped out by us.

In regards to making the templates more editable, that's a solid suggestion! We'll certainly let you know if we make this possible in the template builder. In the interim, you will need to export the templates to achieve this level of control. Be sure to let us know if you need any assistance with this :)
