RSS images not resizing

Hi!

I'm making a newsletter with some RSS. For a start, the RSS I'm dealing with are the "wrong" ones, as I have to cope with this format

<description

Photo of something summery.

So far, I've managed to pull the images from the RSS, but I'm facing a couple of problems. The main one is that the images won't resize properly. The RSS is set to width 800 height 550, but if I check the original images they vary sizes. I've researched and tried this as per your suggestion in the forum

.rssarticle img { max-width: 300px !important; height: auto; /*or whatever fits in your template */ }

It's working like a charm in the preview, but when I send the test email, the height has gone full (max-width is working). I've also tried setting height: auto and max-height: 150, but then the images get distorted. Is there something I can do about it?

On another note, some images are not getting to the newsletter. Can you confirm that this is due to spaces in names or to some other issue, as some PNGs or long names?

I've been struggling with this for days and any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you so much! I've been making more tests and actually the results are good in Mac Mail, but Gmail isn't working - that's where the images get the right width and the full height, resulting, as you can guess, in a destroyed layout... Thanks again!
