Cname and adding a custom domain name

To add a custom domain name I'm aware that I need to add the following record to the DNS for Mydomain:

--------------------------------------------------------

CNAME Name: mydomain

CNAME Data: cname.createsend.com

-----------------------------------------------------------

I've asked the question to my hosting company

Under Advanced DNS Zone Editor in the hosting Cpanel would these be the correct entries?

Name: mydomain
TTL: 14400
Type: CNAME
Address: cname.createsend.com

They've replied that 'Name' field needs to be the proper domain name.

Have I got something wrong or does anyone know the correct way to do this?

Thanks

Hi there JBcmforum, you're almost there. The name has to be the URL you will use to log into your Campaign Monitor account, eg.

Name: email.mydomain.com
TTL: 14400
Type: CNAME
Address: cname.createsend.com

Here's a visual example for you. Thanks, JBcmforum! Don't forget that DNS changes take up to 24 hours to propagate - let us know how you go.
